1. 2NE1 Park Bom’s past drug use swept under rug
Summary :
Korean K-pop star, Park Bom in 2NE1, was caught trying to transfer amphetamines through the international mail about 4 years ago and she wasn't punished and wasn't reported. She said she didn't know that is illegal substance and she took it as purpose for therapy. She got a prescription by the U.S. hospital actually, but about 82 amount of amphetamines are banned in Korea. This incident was dismissed without indictment, and there are some noise that Park's celebrity influence could occur attempting drug smuggling. But Park's company master Yang Hyun Seok said he don't know why this legal accident is come up again.
Persuasive (Reason Why I chose) :
I chose this article because I want to emphasize responsibility and legality. Public figure like Park Bom should be strongly response for their behavior. If they done an illegal behavior, they should be strictly punished. I think Park's incident is illegal in Korea at least, so she have to be punished. That is her responsibility. If she would be not punished, legal force would be weaken and society would be confused.

2. China, South Korea agree to enhance already strong ties with currency exchange, trade talks
Summary :
China and Korea agreed that will expand the use of currency which controlled by China and increase trade. Xi who is president in Chinese brought about 250 business experts and it was the biggest delegation to Korea. Korean finance ministry and central bank said won could be directly exchangeable to yuan and could be converted by other currency. China's purpose is raising yuan's value to dollar's and this agreement is steppingstone. Korea's Trade with China has increase(and now it's more than with U.S. and Japan). Because obstacle that won and yuan cannot be directly changed was disappeared.
Persuasive (Reason Why I chose) :
I think China is strong rising star in the financial market. So, we have to make a good relation with China. Above all things, distance to China is short and culture is very similar, so we can approach to China easily. I agree with expanding currency because this can make China more free to trade with the other country. And this can make Korea more benefit at first. But in long-term view, we should compete with China, so we must have characteristic strategy.

3. S. Korea faces strong opposition to nuclear power despite growing need
Summary :
Korea's new policy on nuclear power plant is facing citizen's opposition. Because recently, there were some huge accident occurred in Korea. And some citizen claim Nuclear power plant has also safety problems. Actually, environmental groups are demanding to stop operating nuclear reactor in Wolseong which lifespan was ended at November 2012. But Korean Nuclear Power Company insist there are many nuclear power plant which was over the lifespan and it is still used. Meanwhile, Korean Government has plans to boost the generating ratio of nuclear power to 2035.
Persuasive (Reason Why I chose) :
I chose this article because I want to strongly emphasize importance of safety. According to the Heinrich's Law, small scale accident gather and it makes more huge size of accident. I think Korea is lain ahead huge accident because Korea did not focus on the safety. I heard another nuclear power plant Kori had a lot of broken and Korean government treat that just temporary method. If we keep treat like this, we would have enormous disaster.
